MusiCares’ Three Support Branches for Music Industry Professionals

Founded in 1989, MusiCares is a network of musicians, producers, venue operators, and other music industry professionals interested in managing aspects of members’ long-term health.

MusiCares has three equally important branches, each focused on the different health demands of our members.

The first – health services – pay for medical/dental appointments, insurance payments, hospitalizations, and prescription medication.

The second – our human services branch – ensures members’ financial security by paying for personal expenses through grants that finance the replacement of musical equipment destroyed because of natural disasters.

Mental health and addiction recovery services are MusiCares’ third branch, offering member referrals to therapy, rehabilitation facilities, and weekly support groups.

MusiCares assists all members of the music industry. By ensuring the holistic health of our members, MusiCares aims to help them focus on creating music to enrich fans’ lives rather than worry about basic living expenses or healthcare challenges.
